The massive South Atlantic ocean meets the never ending Namibian desert coast on a straight line. Like cut out with a box cutter, the sharp and straight line cuts down the two and somewhere along that line, somewhere nowhere, there's a slab of concrete called Walvis Bay. The gateway between the desert and the rest of the world. Here's a few shots from 24 hours spent on the Namibian docklands.
The end of the line. Arriving in Cape Town, South Africa after a 24 day journey onboard the GREY FOX from the North Sea, up in Europe and all along the West African coast through the gulf of Guinea. Coming in to Cape Town by the sea in the early hours of the morning is something I can only recommend to anyone interested in beautiful sights. A truly spectacular setting.
A few days away from Walvis Bay, Namibia, a thick blanket of fog wrapped around the Grey Fox for two full days. With less than 20 meters visibility, we slowly and quietly made our way through this gloomy and sinister setting.
